How does one describe three nights accommodation in a place that felt like home. An exceptional place has been created here by the owners Marina and Salvatore. I am a solo female traveller, at 68 yrs meeting people is not the same as at 20 yrs. I was treated so wonderfully. Each booking has their own place, a small house with a kitchen, a large bedroom with a tv and aircon. The bathroom was a good size, toilet flush excellent 🙂it's important. Everything was simple, neat, clean and comfortable. The gardens are the highlight and there are paths that meander everywhere. There is a large swimming pool, lots of sculptures, peacocks which sadly now don't roam the property, chooks, a gorgeous dog and exceptional staff who were part of the family. The breakfast, a freshly baked cake, warm bread, homemade jams from the orange orchards, endless coffee, eggs, cheese, meat and much more.. If you want a reprieve from travelling and excessive crowds this is the place to be. Thank you Etna Botanic Gardens and Marina, Salvatore, Maria, Schara, Mordi it was memorable.

We picked and travelled to Etna Botanic gardens because we have a 18 month year old and we wanted a gated location the was both shaded and somewhere for him to happily explore without danger of him escaping. this location was perfect for what we wanted. The apartment was small but had all the modern facilities that a small family would need (fridge, TV, bath & shower, air conditioning). The pool was covered by trees so was great for keeping our child in the shade whilst he played and explored pool the gardens, which themselves were beautiful. There we peacocks freely walking about the place which fascinated our child and also a koi carp pond with fish in. Everything about the place was perfect for a young child with excellent breakfasts, and meals for dinner if you booked in the morning. With the local town centre located 5 minutes walk away it was all we needed for a short stay away.

The owners and staff are really welcoming and helpful. Our youngest had her birthday whilst there and the owner was so nice to bake her a cake specially for her which our daughter was amazed with. The place is so beautiful that the photos are not justifiable enough. The place is very quite, peaceful and the peacocks roaming around with 3 cute dogs makes it even better. The pool area is very relaxing and beautiful. Just keep in mind that being surrounded by nature you might need to ask to get it cleaned from leaves etc. Just before you take a swim. We totally recommend this place. Close to many places by car like Taormina, Aci Castello, Nicolosi, Centro Sicila. Will surely visit again with more family members.

The garden is an amazingly tranquil piece of nature in a busy town. Despite initial problems with transfer and checking in, waking up to birds singing and the scent of blooming trees was an incredible and relaxing experience. The foods offered for breakfast were fresh and genuine. We enjoyed a variety of freshly baked breads, homemade jams, and cake in a room decorated with owner's art. The property is good for relaxation and will be perfect for an off-grid holiday.

The location was very beautiful and its very nice to walk around the gardens even in winter, however I think it is probably much nicer during the Spring and Summer. The rooms were very nice and clean, including traditional Sicilian features. We had a little issue as something kept rattling on top of the roof and we couldn't sleep, however we told the staff in the morning and they were very helpful and got it sorted by the same evening.
